rachel whaley

I lead data science and operations teams with equitable, human-centered approaches to analytics. Through workshops, writing, and team leadership, I help organizations build data capabilities that are both powerful and responsible.

My work spans technology, consulting, nonprofits, and higher education, where I've developed new analytics initiatives and trained hundreds of professionals in essential data skills. I recently served on the board of Data Reframed, a nonprofit focused on equitable data futures, and write about navigating the evolving need for data skills alongside artificial intelligence.

Outside of work, I love watching (and performing!) comedy, playing beach volleyball, and binge-reading a good book.

Always looking for better ways to do the things that matter most.
